Whimsical Moon Kid — It’s me! A faerie princess at heart, always wearing my invisible crown and wings. My name means “goddess of the moon.” I love my name. I love myself. I love who I am. My mind is full of wonders. My eyes sparkle as they see the world in fresh and unique ways. I’m a happy-go-lucky, fun-loving kid 🙂

Ally — I’m Ally, Selene’s mom. First and foremost, I am a mom, which is the proudest title I’ve ever had. Like all parents, I love my daughter, I adore her, and I feel so proud of her. Since day one, I have been so excited and looking forward to our journey together not only as mother and daughter, but also as friends who respect each other.

I am also an educator. I am a language teacher and have a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction, specializing in second languages and cultures education. I have taught kindergarten, middle school, high school, and college. I have also worked with graduate students up to Ph.D. level. I enjoy working with students and growing together with them.

One of my biggest passion is art. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, painting, doing craft work, sewing, knitting, hiking, writing, and a bit of cooking. I am also interested in psychology, especially educational psychology, as well as philosophy. It’s kind of hard for me to get silly and have some fun in action, but my daughter has been training me on this! 🙂
